The U.S. also reported unfreezing $10 billion worth of assets belonging to the regime in Iraq, in exchange. for flexibility on a nuclear deal. This deal would require the regime to enrich itself. nuclear enrichment to 60%, resulting in a worse nuclear deal. These developments follow Belgium's release of a tourist (who in fact was a terrorist) from the Islamic Republic in a prisoner exchange. The tourist had used his position as a diplomat to launch an attack on European soil. This capitulation to the Islamic regime is shameful. and disgusting, as it directly incentivizes the regime's policy of kidnapping for national and exchange for cash. The money obtained will support the regime's terrorist activities, and unfortunately, more lives will be lost as a result of the Mullahs receiving billions in cash. This deal of 60% uranium enrichment is a betrayal of the Iranian people by the U.S., especially. Considering the Islamic Republic's ongoing execution spree, with hundreds of protestors being executed, some even in public. Biden's willingness to give. billions of dollars to the regime is enabling a regime of terrorists. The money will not benefit the people of Iran but rather go to the regime's proxies in Syria, Lebanon, or the Palestinian territories. In fact, the Islamic Republic is responsible for the largest number of Arab-Muslim murders in the world.
If you genuinely support the people of Iran and humanity, you should demand. accountability from elected officials like Joe Biden, who are enabling the Islamic regime and will have blood on their hands across the Middle East and beyond. These are not the values we should be promoting. You can't claim to support the people of Iran and betray them. Iranian lives are more important than cheaper oil or protecting political careers and interests.
Once again, the people of Iran are asking for support for the Iranian people and the implementation of the #MaximumSupport policy presented by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. Instead, funds should be directed to Iranian workers and worker strikes against the regime. After all, these frozen assets belong to the Iranian people, not the regime.
